RESIDENTS ONLY

Our Program operates at the discretion of your Home Owners Association. This location is for Residents Only.

Our lessons are run in small group sessions for children. Our stations are not as formal as YEAR ROUND programs, as we are a Conestoga wagon of swim programs operating in public HOA pools, but our commitment in this program is to teach as many kids how to be safe in our neighborhood pools as possible. The classes are Monday - Thursday for 2 weeks for a total of 8, 30 min classes with Friday’s reserved for makeup lessons only if the pool has to close for weather, contamination or other unforeseen reason deemed by Ms Jane's Swim School.

SO HOW ARE THE CLASSES RUN? THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS IS AN ASSESSMENT AND THE INSTRUCTOR MAY MOVE YOUR CHILD IF THEY BELIEVE THEY WILL PERFORM BETTER WITH OTHER CHILDREN OF SIMILAR ABILITIES. EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR SCHEDULE. The instructors are evaluating and determining if children need to be moved, so please don't be surprised if the skills learned in class on the first day are not remarkable.  I equate the first day of class to a brand new box of puzzle pieces emptied out - first you sort the pieces and it's a little chaotic and then over the course of the two weeks the pieces start to put together a clear picture! Some of our precious puzzle pieces are a flipped backwards. Meaning they are NOT happy with the first week of swim classes - stranger danger, control issues, and genuine fear of water - and that is okay!!!! It is our job to flip those puzzle pieces and form a bond with them. Sometimes it take a whole week of classes, sometimes its 3 weeks, some its more. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be discouraged if your child cries or doesn't participate in the class. Sometimes even when they aren't participating they are still observing and on their own will try what they saw in class.

CLOSURE/MAKE-UP POLICY

We do not offer makeup sessions due to student travel or sickness etc so please schedule accordingly and to the best of your ability. Make-up Lessons will only be scheduled on Fridays (only a maximum of 1 make-up will be offered each week) for weather related cancellations (wind, cold temperatures, extreme heat, lightening, etc.) or emergency related issues. If a class is canceled due to lightning or hygiene related issues,  a make-up class will be scheduled for the Friday of that week. No refunds will be given for any additional class cancellations. SOMETIMES MOTHER NATURE IS NOT KIND. IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT NOT ALL CLASSES/CLASSTIME WILL BE MADE UP. Cancellations will be announced on the Band app.

Please do not assume lessons are cancelled if it is overcast or raining.  Classes will be held unless there is danger presented by lightning or wind. Generally the HOA will announce to our organization that it will be closing the pool and we cannot always guarantee when they will re-open. Every effort will be made to update the Band app in a timely manner.

PAYMENT/DISCOUNT/REFUND POLICY

Full payment is due at booking.  Our secure customer portal is available for Registration and making online payments. All payments are final. There are no discounts available - we try to price ourselves far lower than the competition at about $13 per lesson compared to over $20 per lesson at the other retail chain centers.

No refunds will be given once the class has been paid for.  WE RENT POOL SPACE, AND SPEND A LOT OF TIME STRUCTURING THE CLASSES. WE DO NOT MAKE-UP CLASSES IF YOU MISS THE CLASS, EVEN IF THERE IS SICKNESS, DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS, TRAVEL, ETC. Once you have paid, a time slot has been reserved for you.  That spot is considered “sold” and is no longer marketable. IF YOU HAVE UNEXPECTED REASON FOR CANCELLING, you are able to TRANSFER the lesson or SELL to another party. It is your paid slot. When scheduling lessons, it is your responsibility to make sure that vacation, appointments, and health concerns do not interfere with the lessons for which you have enrolled.

When a classtime is reserved, resources are allocated for that time slot whether you participate or not, including RENTS TO THE HOAs, INSURANCE, INSTRUCTOR PAYROLL, and EQUIPMENT.

DISCLOSURES

 - WE CANNOT REGULATE THE POOLS SINCE WE ARE CONTINGENT ON MOTHER NATURE OR HOA CLOSURES. IF YOU DO SIGN UP FOR A CLASS AND HOA OR WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE A PROBLEM THE INSTRUCTOR WILL TERMINATE THE CLASS FOR YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY.

- We also do not offer private lessons. We have a small teacher to student ratio in a small group setting.
